CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

What activities are there for kids?
Children 12 and under are admitted to the festival for free!

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Can I bring a cooler with food/beverages to the festival?
Food and beverages will be provided at festival friendly rates that will be the most competitive of any music festival that you will attend this year! Additionally, there are several Fairport restaurants in the area for your choosing. No coolers, please.

Is the food included in the admission price?
No, it is not. Your admission price is a donation to the event that gets you access to all band stage (3) areas. All proceeds from this event are donated to Golisano Children’s Hospital. Food and beverages (water, soda, beer, wine) will be for sale at very reasonable prices.

MISCELLANEOUS

Can I bring a lawn chair or blanket?
The festival band areas are located in parking lot-type areas with hard macadam surfaces. In the past, organizers have placed grass turf over parts of those surfaces! Blankets and chairs are fine. Tables and chairs will also be provided for your convenience.

PARKING

Where do I park?
First preferred are the two large lots on the south side of the Canal across from the Music Festival, but free parking is available at many public parking lots throughout the Village of Fairport as well. Signs will be posted showing those areas. Please respect private property and do not block any areas with your vehicle. Handicap parking is at Minerva Deland School 140 Hurlburt Road, Fairport, NY and then utilize our shuttle service.

SHUTTLE SERVICE

Can I get a shuttle to the event?
Shuttle service is available Friday and Saturday to/from Minerva Deland School, 140 Hurlburt Road, Fairport, NY and Intersection of Lift Bridge Lane and Main Street in a Continuous Loop.

OUT OF TOWN VISITORS

I am from out of the area – is there a place I can stay?
A limited number of rooms are available at discounted FMF rates until August 11 at The Woodcliff Hotel and Spa, (call 585-248-4810 and ask for FMF Room Block).

FESTIVAL HOURS

What time does the festival start and end?
Friday: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday: 11:30am – 10:00pm

RAIN DATE

Will there be a “rain date” in case of inclement weather?
No. Each band stage will be covered, and each stage area will have covered tents to protect all from rain. The show will go on with the fun of any rain added. Hey, it rained at Woodstock didn’t it?

PETS

Can I bring my dog?
While we are sure that your pets are very well behaved, crowd activity and noise levels may bother the animals, so we prefer that you leave them home. NO pets allowed.

TICKETS

PLEASE NOTE:

Any backpacks, large purses or bags or other carry-in devices are subject to inspection before entry to the festival. If you see any suspicious packages, please report them to security immediately.
